Our client, the web design agency Halbstark GmbH, was regularly faced with a time-consuming and error-prone workflow. Every design change in Webflow required six manual steps:

Download the ZIP file from Webflow
Upload the ZIP to the existing converter
Download the converted theme as a ZIP
Manually back up the shop settings in Shopify
Upload the converted theme to Shopify
Manually restore the saved shop settings

These constant workflow interruptions hampered efficiency and increased the risk of errors with every single deployment.

The Solution

Liquiflow was developed as a tailored response to this challenge. The web-based converter seamlessly transforms code from Webflow to Shopify, while a custom-built Shopify app ensures that the converted theme is synchronized directly with the shop – without any manual intervention.

Shop settings (settings.json) are carried over automatically. By eliminating the manual ZIP cycle, we automated two critical parts of the workflow and reduced the entire process to a single click.
